Maafushi Maldives - Week 2 of Travelling 'The Weekly Wrap'

What a week! Week 2 of our travels and we spent it on Maafushi Island again… why 😂 because we absolutely LOVE it here so we extended our stay 😆

Day 8

Today was EPIC, we redid our Shark tour as the fist time we experienced it, the weather was, CRAP, yep CRAP lol.

So today we got to experience the FULL tour which also included visiting the Shipwreck, and experiencing Stingray Beach and an incredible Sand Bank.

Probably my favourite day so far!!

Day 9

Today we just had a chill day around Maafushi! We swam at bikini beach, Brett and Liv snorkeled around the top end of the island and saw reef sharks, rays, eels and a turtle. We filmed a walkaround guide of Maafushi below for those who want to take a look around:

Day 10

Whale Sharks

WOW I cannot begin to explain how BIG these Whale Sharks are and the adrenaline that pumps thro your body swimming up to them! A once in a lifetime experience.... well maybe not, now that ive done it I will most definitely do it again!

The day we went, wasn't the best weather or visibility, but in the end we still got to swim with the Whale Sharks and although the visibility of the video isn't great, the experience and sense of accomplishment far exceeded our expectations. We would do again if we had of had more time for sure!!

Day 11

Chill day

Day 12

Mega yacht day

Now, this is what you call a Booze Boat! A $4 million mega yacht parked off the shore to give tourists the opportunity to have an alcoholic beverage and watch the epic sunset! The boat (Infinity) was a whole experience in itself!

Day 13

Today was our last full day on Maafushi Island, and we travelled in the evening from Male to Sri Lanka, to meet Fynn and to spend a month touring thro Sir Lanka.
